Idle has developed a mattress with an unique design.Idle Mattress Pop Up
They have made a mattress with the SAME firmness on both sides which really makes this mattress stick out from other 2-sided bed-in-the-box brand names that have a different firmness option on each side.
This was an idea that used to be typical for lots of traditional innerspring mattresses till the costs got expensive to produce them. Then mattress companies stopped offering the ones you might flip and chose the cheaper to make one-sided variations.
Thanks to Idle Sleep, the 2 sided flippable mattress is back.
This unique style allows you to flip the Idle over regularly to prolong the life of the mattress and prevent any drooping or imprints from taking place. This is especially beneficial in the case of couples where one partner is much heavier than the other.

How is the Idle Hybrid Mattress Constructed?
Idle has 2 models that are made with Certipur certified foams which indicates that they consist of no PBDE’s, ozone depleters or TDCPP.
They are both 14″ tall, 2-sided and feature handgrips for ease in moving around the mattresses.
They are likewise well-suited for all sleepers: side, stomach, back and combo sleepers (people that rotate between positions during the night.)
The hybrid mattresses are also recommended for people with back pain because the pocketed coils will give your spine support while the foam or latex will cushion your pressure points.
Both are constructed of fabrics which are produced to help you sleep cool and get a good nights rest.
1 ″ Quilted Foam Cover— Contouring foam is woven into the top layer which provides it softness.
1 ″ Response Foam— This layer is designed with aerated foam which provides cooling and bounce.
2 ″ Cooling Buoyancy Foam— Made without visco elastic chemicals to remain cooler than memory foam and provides much better pressure relief for areas like hips and back.
6 ″ Pocketed Coils— This layer functions as the core support of the mattress with high quality steel pocketed innerspring coils that go all the way to the edge of the mattress.
2 ″ Cooling Buoyancy Foam— described above.

Latex tends to sleep extremely cool since it is aerated and will not trap heat the way a standard memory foam mattress does.
Instead of using glue to keep the mattress layers together, Idle Sleep uses button tufting which is an eco-friendly method.
How firm is the Idle?
The Idle Sleep mattresses are available in 2 firmness choices: Medium and Luxury Firm.
You have the option of choosing a mattress with 2 Luxury Firm sides, 2 Medium sides or Medium on one side and Luxury Firm on the other side.
The Medium is around a 6.5 out of 10, where 10 is the firmest. The Luxury Firm is around a 9 out of 10.
Heavier people will discover the Luxury Firm more supportive.
This is a measure of how supportive the bed is around its boundary.
The coils on the Idle Sleep mattresses go right to the edge of the mattresses to provide the best edge support whether you are sitting on the edge or sleeping near it.
There is very little motion transfer although these mattresses do have some bounce. The individually enclosed coils isolate motion much better than standard inner springs. Compared to other hybrids in the bed-in-a-box category this one may be an excellent choice if you sleep with a spouse or a pet so your sleep won’t be affected by their motion.
